Socata Rallye Aircraft in Poland
Originally built by SOCATA, now part of Daher (TBM series).
The Socata Rallye (originally Morane-Saulnier MS.880, continued by Socata) is a family of French fixed-gear light singles known for exceptional short-field/STOL performance and benign low-speed handling — the full-span leading-edge slats give the Rallye a famously docile stall and remarkable short-takeoff capability. Produced from the early 1960s through the 1990s in many variants (Rallye 100/150/180/235 and the Gaillard/Galérien/Galopin names) with engines from 100 to 235 hp, the Rallye served as a trainer, tourer, and a popular glider-tug across Europe. A distinctive, affordable classic with a loyal following, though parts and service support is European-centric.
