About the Beechcraft Baron 58
The Beechcraft Baron 58 — listed as the Beech 58 Baron, the BE58 or simply the Baron 58 — is the stretched, six-seat member of the Baron twin line, in production since 1970 and still built today as the Garmin-equipped G58. With double aft club doors, six seats and two Continental IO-550 engines, it cruises around 215 knots and combines Bonanza handling with twin-engine redundancy. Variants include the standard 58, the pressurised 58P and the turbocharged 58TC, keeping the Beechcraft Baron 58 among the most popular piston twins on the used market.
Produced 1970–2005. Total produced: 1,700.
