The 300-horsepower IO-550BRA burns approximately 16 GPH at 10,000 feet to cruise at 174 knots rich of peak. The STCed upgrade to 300 -hp from 285-hp, along with 80 gallons usable fuel, 100# gross weight increase plus a large cargo door with extended baggage compartmen translate to a fast, long-legged cross-country traveler. Inside, the panel is well-equipped with a JPI EDM-930 engine monitorreplacing all analog gauges plus a complete suite of IFR avionics centered on a Garmin 430 WAAS driving a Garmin Aera 796moving map display and Century IV autopilot.
