Always open and examine oil filter, often with Blackstone reports, no metal. Perfect confidence in this engine.
Propeller
2012 extensive rehab/annual with numerous upgrades completed, including: • Nose and MLG removed and refurbished and reinstalled • Aft fuselage interior cleaned and primed • All tail surfaces removed, spars primed, reinstalled with all new hardware • Aft muffler replaced 2021, forward muffler replaced 2022 Original mechanical tachometer still installed, overhauled in '23 • The reinforced wing walk wing skin section has been replaced by Lancaster Aero, Smoketown, PA in '23 Work included re-skin of cabin door, removal of fuel tanks, replacement of fuel and fuel vent lines, and compliance with Piper SB1345 (wing spar eddy current inspection, no defects noted).
