Description
200hp Arrow II with Garmin glass and 1025 lbs. useful load. No deferred maintenance items. It has been a fantastic IFR cross-country time building machine--especially since the avionics upgrade--with very low operating and maintenance costs. New Garmin panel in Dec. 2024 with G3X Touch (10.6") PFD/MFD, GFC500 digital autopilot, GTN650xi GPS/NAV/COM, GNC215 NAV/COM. It already had a current-model GTX345 transponder (ADS-B out/in, Bluetooth) and a good Garmin audio panel, so we kept those and the original analog in-dash clock; all other avionics (and the panel itself) are new as of Dec 2024. All exterior lights are LED, which really reduces maintenance and electrical load. Connect your EFB to the G3X via Bluetooth and send flight plans from ForeFlight direct to the G3X and GTN650 (this is particularly useful for both initial IFR clearances and complex route amendments). View FIS-B weather (NEXRAD, winds, turbulence, METAR/TAF, etc.), traffic, and charts on the G3X Touch. Full Engine Instrument System with individual EGT and CHTs and fuel flow integrated into the G3X Touch, which allows efficient lean-of-peak cruise settings (and I fastidiously run it lean-of-peak in cruise, descent, and ground ops). All exterior lights are LED and vacuum system is removed-reducing weight, maintenance, and electrical loads. Mostly cross-country hours. Consistent Blackstone oil analysis over past 600 hours show excellent engine health. Total time 7573, 2540 SMOH/ 1896 SIRAN (Poplar Grove). 200hp. Max cruise is about 10.5 gph ROP (160 MTAS) or 8.8 gph LOP (153 MTAS); max endurance is about 5.9 gph. Equipment replaced in the last two years include: both magnetos, both fuel sender units, electric fuel pump, landing gear power pack (rebuilt), and muffler assembly. Logs are complete. The aircraft is currently based at KSPG.
