The Dassault Falcon 8X (2016+) is the long-range evolution of the 7X — a stretched-cabin tri-jet with ~6,450 nm range, three uprated Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307D engines, digital fly-by- wire, and the EASy II flight deck. The 8X extends the 7X's range and cabin while keeping the tri-jet redundancy, short-field capability and class-leading fuel efficiency. It competes with the Gulfstream G650 and Bombardier Global 6000/7500, positioned as the efficient tri-jet alternative with the ability to access airports the larger twins cannot.
