Description

Wilco Aviation is proud to present this exceptional Beechcraft 58 Baron, N142TW. Based at Henstridge Airfield in Somerset, England, N142TW offers an impressive avionics suite, low airframe hours, and a complete and well-documented maintenance history. Its distinctive specification sets it apart from other BE58 aircraft currently on the market. Carefully upgraded and maintained by just two previous owners?and serviced by only two A P engineers throughout its lifetime??Tango Whiskey? benefits from numerous enhancements. These include 194 US gallon long-range fuel tanks, GAMI injectors, flap seals, vortex generators, aluminium ice plates, and full FIKI (Flight Into Known Icing) certification. Importantly, N142TW has recently benefited from a complete top-end overhaul on both engines, providing valuable peace of mind for its new owner and ensuring strong, reliable performance for years to come. The Beechcraft BE58 Baron, a distinguished member of the Baron family, has been celebrated since its introduction in the late 1960s for its performance, reliability, and versatility. Founded by Walter H. Beech in 1932, Beechcraft rapidly established a reputation for producing high-quality, innovative aircraft. By the 1960s, the company was well regarded in both civilian and military aviation markets. Introduced in 1969, the Baron 58 evolved from the Baron 55, featuring a longer fuselage and more powerful engines to meet demand for a larger and more capable twin-engine aircraft. Powered by uprated Continental IO-550 engines producing 300 horsepower each, the Baron 58 offers club seating for six, including the pilot, providing excellent passenger comfort. The aircraft cruises at approximately 200 knots (230 mph) with a range of around 1,000 nautical miles, making it a highly capable touring aircraft. The Beechcraft 58 is renowned for its robust construction, spacious cabin, low-wing configuration, retractable tricycle undercarriage, and modern avionics and instrumentation, incorporating advanced navigation and safety systems. The Baron 58 is particularly popular with private owners, charter operators, and corporate flight departments due to its reliability, performance, and comfort. It is widely used for personal travel, business aviation, and air taxi operations. Several air forces around the world also operate the Baron 58 for training, liaison, and light transport roles, reflecting its versatility and durability. Maintaining a strong presence in the light twin-engine aircraft market for decades, the Baron 58 has competed successfully with aircraft such as the Cessna 310, Piper Seneca, and Diamond DA62. More than 50 years after its introduction, it remains highly sought after on the used market, valued for its proven design and enduring performance. The Beechcraft BE58 Baron represents a significant milestone in the evolution of light twin-engine aircraft. Its combination of performance, comfort, and reliability has ensured lasting popularity, while continual upgrades over the years have preserved its relevance and appeal among pilots and operators worldwide. All Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins have been complied with, and the aircraft is offered with a complete set of logs. UK VAT has been paid, and worldwide delivery can be arranged.
