Description

Annual completed on 10/03/2025 This is a really good plane and you will not be disappointed. 1969 Model Year 177A with the Lycoming O-360 (180 HP) from the factory Great time builder and trainer! Go faster, further and with more shoulder room than a 172 and cheaper than a 182! This Cardinal is a great flying airplane with newly OH engine. Clean and newer interior. Passed spar inspection in 2023. Could use new exterior paint. New main tires and I have the wheel pants (not installed). Powder coated yokes. Some interior panels have been replaced with new. Not Installed: Recertified TruTrack AP (with cardinal specific hardware) and new AV-30 with Magnometer available ($5K) if interested. Hours will update as plane is flown regularly.

About the Cessna 177A

The Cessna 177 Cardinal is one of Cessna's most distinctive singles — a sleek four-seat high-wing with a strutless cantilever wing, wide doors and excellent visibility, designed as a more modern successor to the 172. It comes in two sub-families: the fixed-gear 177, 177A and 177B, and the faster retractable-gear 177RG Cardinal RG. Loved for its looks and roomy cabin, the Cardinal has a devoted following. See the live price range and median above for the Cessna 177, Cardinal and 177RG listings currently on the market.

Produced 1968–1978.
