Featuring a 310-horsepower Continental TSIO-550 turbocharged engine, the Cessna 400 cruises at 220 knots with a range of 1,100 nautical miles, placing it among the fastest certified fixed-gear piston singles ever built. With a maximum takeoff weight of 3,600 lbs, fuel burn of approximately 17.5 gallons per hour, and seating for four, the Cessna 400 delivers near-turboprop speeds at piston operating costs. The all-composite airframe, Garmin G1000 glass cockpit, and turbocharged engine create a technologically advanced package for serious cross-country travel.
