About the Piper Cheyenne
The Piper Cheyenne is a pressurised PT6A turboprop twin developed from the Navajo airframe, spanning the Cheyenne I, II, IIIA and the fast, stretched Cheyenne 400. Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engines give it turbine reliability, high-altitude cruise and speeds from roughly 280 up to 350 kt on the 400. It remains a capable owner-flown and light-business turboprop, with engine condition and program status central to value.
Produced 1974–1984. Total produced: 700.
