About the Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser
The Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser is a postwar three-seat development of the Cub family, built 1946-48, with one front seat and a bench for two behind. More powerful and longer-legged than the J-3, the Super Cruiser was famous for long-distance touring, including round-the-world flights. It remains a capable and roomy classic taildragger, popular on floats and in the backcountry.
