Engine Program
Engine Program Notes
AVEX has harvested over 25 years of data from the PT6 series engines in the TBM and has been
able to establish a mean trend line for vibration characteristics of rotating components in the
engine. This allows us to compare it to the normal signature of expected vibration, and quickly spot
any anomalies on a rotating component.

About the Daher TBM 940
The Daher TBM 940 (2019-2022) is the modern Daher TBM flagship that introduced HomeSafe Autoland — the world's first single-engine production aircraft with autonomous landing capability. If the pilot becomes incapacitated, a passenger can activate Autoland via the large red button on the overhead panel; the system autonomously navigates to the nearest suitable airport, manages ATC communications, performs the approach and landing, and shuts down on the runway. Combined with Garmin G3000 NXi avionics, E-copilot (electronic stability and protection), and the proven PT6A-66D turbine, the 940 represents the safest single-engine turboprop ever certified. Production ran 2019-2022 before being superseded by the TBM 960.
