IFRDescription
This 2017 Cessna Turbo Stationair HD combines capability, and versatility in one well-equipped package. Powered by a turbocharged engine and featuring the Garmin G1000 NXi Avionics Suite with GFC700 Autopilot, it delivers excellent performance and ease of operation. Additional highlights include Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT), Traffic Awareness System (TAS) and XM Weather & Radio. The owner had the steam gauge backup instruments replaced with a Garmin 275 and removed the vacuum system, added a passenger door (Wipaire) and Flint Tip Tanks for a total useable fuel of 117 gallons providing over 6 hours of flying and over a 1000 nm range. Canadian Regulations required a rear baggage door modification to permit continued use of the 6 place aircraft capacity when on floats, which was done under an STC. It has a hinged window which allows the baggage door to be opened even when full flaps are extended Canadian ADS-B uses a satellite-based and the TAS system provides that, so the aircraft has both satellite and ground based ADS-B In and Out and satisfies the requirements in both the US and Canada.
