Seller reportedDescription
Freshly repacked BRS Parachute equipped 2006 Lancair IVP and Cirrus SR-22 killer. Fully feathering Hot Prop, Therm-X wing and tail deice. 10 hours since IRAN on TSIO-550E in 2026. Paint and interior are 9/10. Lancair IVP insurance prices have dropped significantly and with initial training the costs are now reasonable. Why fly a Cirrus when you can fly a Lancair IVP at less than half the price with AOA safety and BRS parachute while flying 80kts faster in pressurized comfort? Aircraft had a nose gear collapse in 2024, but has been completely repaired. The engine was IRANed by Barrett Precision Motors of Oklahoma in 2026. The airframe went back to RDD in Redmond for all repair work and is waiting for parachute repack from BRS. The hot prop is new from Hartzell and it has the improved nose gear drag links and new engine mount. The improved drag links solve the nose gear collapse issue by reinforcing the gear down position and eliminating wear of the previous bushing installation. This is a mature airplane with nearly 1000 hours and is proven and reliable.
