RV-8A For Sale. N698BS. Built in 2005 by Bill Suzie Wallace, Air frame Total Time 773.1 Engine Time 618.0 Superior IO360 B1AA3 with E mags. Addendum of modifications to pilots ops manual are included. Updated Avionics includes: Dynon Classic Skyview with Dynon Skyview with autopilot and control panel. AFS 2500 Engine monitor, U-avionics 30E, Garmin SL30 Nav Com, Garmin GNC 300 Nav Com, GTX 327 Transponder, PS Engineering PMA 4000 Audio Control, ADSB in and out, AOA with Heated Pitot. Aux 12 Gallon rear baggage fuel tank, (adds 1 hour and 40 minutes of flight time.) Converted nose gear fork from 5 inch to 6 inch wheel and tires with newer tires tubes. Skyview USB port on instrument panel for updates. Larger Stewart Warner oil cooler, added 2nd Odyssey PC680 Aux battery, Canopy cover, and sunshade, No corrosion, always hangered in Arizona and Montana. Complete listing of all modifications in Pilots Operation Manual. All of the builders construction plans and pictures. Currently hangered in Hamilton Montana. The new Hartzell 74 inch prop has been installed ) All of the manuals, Vans construction, builders logs and pics, Superior, Dynon, Hartzell, and Addendum of modifications are included as well as numerous small parts. Propeller
Aircraft experienced a prop strike Sept 2006. Builder replaced engine, prop, nose gear leg, fork and engine mounts with new components and new hardware. Mags were replaced with E mags 3-17-2011.
