1982 Yakovlev YAK-52

We re pleased to offer LY-RED, a Yakovlev Yak-52 in excellent condition, to be delivered with a fresh annual inspection completed by Termikas this October/November the leading specialists in Yak maintenance. LY-RED presents beautifully inside and out. Its bold, standout red paint work is fitting to the 52 s design. A superb example of this rugged, Soviet-era military trainer. The Yak-52 is known for its aerobatic performance, responsive handling and solid design the 52 s are now used for both leisure and competition flying. LY-RED reflects all of these qualities, while also benefitting from several recent updates, including newly upholstered seats and a cockpit that presents very well with new avionics which include a Becker COM and a Garmin GTX 328 transponder. The Yak-52 is instantly recognisable with the sound of the nine cylinder M14P radial engine, RED has 380 hours on the engine and just 200 on the prop. Aircraft has been reduced due to the purchase of another aircraft.
