Schweizer 300 Helicopter
The Schweizer 300 is the classic rugged piston training helicopter — a three-seat, Lycoming-powered helicopter with a fully-articulated rotor, descended from the Hughes 269/300 and later sold as the Sikorsky S-300. Forgiving, durable and economical to operate, it has trained generations of pilots and remains a favourite of flight schools and private owners. The 300C (carburetted) and 300CBi (fuel-injected) are the main variants.
