Learjet 75 Aircraft 2010s

Learjet, produced under Bombardier Aviation.

2010s light jets are the current modern fleet — Citation M2 (2013+), CJ3+/CJ4+/Citation Latitude (2015+), Phenom 100E/EV (2015+), Phenom 300E (2017+), HondaJet (production from 2015+), SF50 Vision Jet (2016+), Pilatus PC-24 (2017+). Garmin G3000/G5000 and Pro Line Fusion avionics standard. Modern engine programs (Williams TAP, Pratt & Whitney ESP), full mandate compliance.

The Learjet 75 (and shorter Learjet 70) is the final, most modern Learjet — an updated 40/45-lineage light jet with the Garmin-based Vision flight deck, a flat-floor cabin and ~464 kt cruise. The 75 Liberty (2019+) was the value-spec final variant with reduced seating but lower price. Production ended in 2022 with the Learjet line's discontinuation, making the 70/75 the youngest and most capable Learjets on the used market.

Buying a Used Learjet 75

Buying a Learjet 75 comes down to a focused pre-purchase checklist — here is what matters most on this model:

What to check before buying

  • TFE731-40BR engine program — Honeywell MSP; near-new aircraft often still on factory programs.
  • Vision avionics — Garmin-based flight deck; software level matters.
  • Mandate compliance — ADS-B Out, FANS — typically already done on these newer aircraft.
  • Low-time airframes — relatively young aircraft.
  • Liberty (value) spec — reduced seat count, simpler galley — verify what spec you're buying.

Which 70/75? A 75 for the full light-jet experience; a 70 for the smaller variant; a 75 Liberty for value at lower-spec cabin.
