Description
**SOLD!** Low-time, barn-find early-model Piper Archer (180 HP) that has been always hangared and well preserved. The aircraft was last annualed in 2013 and features a factory-new engine installed in 1982. It wears very nice paint, completed in 2000 by Straub's Aircraft Services in Kingman, Arizona, and presents well for its age. Equipped with dual brakes and a new Concorde battery, the aircraft starts, runs, and taxis. It will require an annual inspection and ADS-B compliance. Aircraft is being sold as-is, making it an excellent opportunity for a flight school, owner-operator, or time-builder looking for a solid Archer platform with upside for someone willing to put in a little elbow grease.
About the Piper Archer
The Piper Archer (PA-28-181, also the Cherokee Archer and Archer II/III) is the 180-hp, tapered-wing member of the PA-28 family and the all-round owner favourite. With a 180-hp Lycoming O-360 it cruises near 125 knots, carries four adults more comfortably than the Warrior, and remains in production today as the glass-panel Archer LX, DX and TX. That continuous production and a huge used fleet make it one of the easiest four-seaters to own, insure and resell.
