New pitot lines and fuel lines were replaced during left wing rebuild. New rudder return springs. SMOH 965. ADs are current. Rudder due in 3 years. Holds 424 lbs with fuel full. ADSB out. New battery and ELT battery in 2024. LED landing and taxi lights. ***Left to do. Fix 3 ribs from the rear spar to the trailing edge of the right wing. Cover right wing. About the Piper Colt
The Piper Colt (PA-22-108) is a simplified two-seat trainer version of the Tri-Pacer, built from 1961 to 1964. Stripped of the rear seats and flaps and powered by a 108 hp Lycoming, the Colt was Piper's low-cost answer for flight schools competing with the Cessna 150. Its short-wing, steel-tube construction and forgiving nosewheel handling make it an affordable, easy-to-maintain classic two-seater today.
