It isn’t quick, however more than makes up for the slow flight in character. This 1961 Piper has a cruise speed of 90kts, assisted by the smooth Lycoming O-235-C1B powerplant. The airframe currently has 7,120:45 hours (may go up with use), with the engine only having 844 hours, which makes this ideal for hour building. With this airframe being restored in 2003, there isn’t really any way of telling this aircraft’s hours.
