Purchased as a time builder, never used as a trainer, fantastic plane and condition however something else on the market popped up I'm interested so I'm looking to sell this plane and swap. Last annual in December no issues time will go up as I'll keep using it until I can make the swap. everything is in perfect order just had it inspected by two separate facilities. The Pipistrel Alpha Trainer is a fixed-gear, Rotax 912-powered Light Sport two-seater designed as a low-cost trainer and time-builder. Derived from the Virus airframe but simplified (fixed gear, fixed-pitch prop), it is one of the most economical ways to train or build hours — very low fuel burn, light controls and a modern composite airframe. It competes with the Cessna 162, Tecnam P2002 and Flight Design CT in the LSA trainer market.
