Description
Offered by Valor this 1984 Citation S/II s/n S550-0013.The Citation S/II or Super II is the enhanced version of the Classic Citation II 550, as it gained a supercritical airfoil with swept wing-roots, aileron and flap gap seals, and a fluid deicing system instead of the pneumatic deicing boots used on earlier Citations 500,501,550’s.To further reduce drag, the fuselage and engine nacelle pylons were redesigned, and nacelle fairings were added as well. Fuel capacity was increased by 120 US gal (450 L). The result of the improvements was a cruise speed of 411ktas, and a range of 1,500+ with six passengers and crew with fuel reserve. The improved 2,500lbs thrust JT15D-4B engines have higher temperature-rated components, allowing more thrust at higher altitudes. This aircraft features Garmin COMM/NAV-GPS, XM Datalink, ADS-B Trans, Honeywell MFD, TCAS & TAWS, along with Freon A/C and Increased Gross Weight Mod.
