Sling2 Tailwheel for sale. Finished in 2022, on an LAA permit, current permit runs to September 2026. Total time Airframe and Engine 70hrs. Engine - Rotax 912ULS (100hp). Prop - Airmaster, electric constant speed, automatic and manual adjustment. Main instrumentation - MGL EFIS Backup - dial instruments Radio - 8.33 spacing FUNKE Transponder - FUNKE Built with the "golf bag" extended baggage area in the fuselage. This Sling2 was the 3rd Sling I built, the previous 2 being Sling4. This Sling2 was the first tailwheel version in the UK (I believe there are now 3 in total) and it is a great tailwheel aircraft. Cruises at 95+ knots, final approach at 53 knots. G-SLZT is fitted with larger tyres but I have the original spats for the smaller tyres, although this would involve changing the wheel hubs. I have reluctantly decided to sell G-SLZT as I am just not flying her enough, as you can see from the total hours. Aircraft deserve to be flown. Based at Blackpool Airport and always hangared.
