Seller reportedDescription
Regrettably for sale is our Robin DR400/160, G-BBDP is a 1973, powered by a Lycoming O-320-D2A. G-DP is a joy to fly, as anyone who has flown a DR400 will tell you it will cruise quite happily around 120kt and has a surprisingly good climb rate even with three adults and a good fuel load. G-DP is currently hangered at Sturgate airfield near Gainsborough. G-DP is fitted with the usual 110L main tank and the extra pair of 40L wing tanks, giving a total capacity of 190L and an endurance of about 5 hours, considering its 120 kt cruise it makes for a great little tourer. Recently she has been (and still is being) used by a syndicate of five pilots who use her for a variety of things, from the usual run out to an airfield café to tours of the UK. You can even get two mountain bikes and enough camping gear for a week in the highlands packed in the back! G-DP is an honest machine, structurally she is sound, having had an extensive inspection at the last annual with no issues found. G-DP would benefit from replacement canopy transparencies as there is craze around the edges but doesn't affect the airworthiness!
