Mainair Blade (Modified)

Mainair Blade (Modified) 582 for sale. I purchased this flexwing in 2010 as a Flash II Alpha 582 G-MYKH and flew it all over Ireland without issue. Originally it had the twin fuel tank system which was partially a factor in an unfortunate altercation with a tree and a very small field in Co. Cork. The plane was rebuilt using a 462 blade trike and wing and a HP exhaust for the 582. The whole process was shadowed and approved by the BMAA, hence its "Blade modified" title. All paperwork is available. The blade wing: G-CBHG passed its Betts test but was marginal. I purchased a replacement sail which was serviced and repaired by Pennine Flexing Services together with a set of rigging cables to address the then relevant SB 147. My flying became less frequent and so I put the plane on SSDR where it still remains. The sail and cables are boxed and ready to be fitted, though it still flies well on the original sail as it's stored in a dark hanger. The engine has circa 395 hours, Comprehensive instruments New starter motor belt 3 new tyres 65 litre fuel tank (with fuel gauge).
