James, W.D.Lowe and L.A.Edwards) Reason for sale: Reluctant sale due to Loss of Pilot Medical Certificate Location: Aircraft based at Wycombe Air Park, Marlow, Buckinghamshire (EGTB) Place of Manufacture: 1952, Chester, England TT Airframe 15,945 Hrs. (411 hours flown since purchase) TT Engine 2351 Hrs (On Condition) TTBO Propeller: 115 Hrs (Since last Inspection) A large amount of key critical spares are available by separate negotiation to include, nosecone and backplate, Starter motor, Voltage regulator, Spare mainwheels with serviceable tyres (Dunlop). Dunlop brake kit. Control Surfaces Engine Cowlingsand Voltage.Regulator and Starter motor all with release paperwork. Historical Providence: This Chipmunk was issued to the Royal Air Force on 17th April 1952. During its early career it was deployed at RAF Benson, RAF Shawbury then RAF Newton with the Nottingham University Air Squadron. It was sent for disposal in 1992. It has been a totally reliable workhorse ever since averaging 100 to 120 hours a year and has no accidental damage. Engineering Summary: Engineering support provided by ATS Aero Ltd, Wycombe Air Park. New Fabric on wings, ailerons, flaps and elevators and re paint 2024 Avionics: Funkwerk Radio, slave and Mode S Transponder.
