Airframe

The smooth carbon fibre shape is instantly recognized around the world as the symbol of a modern light aircraft. The structure is aerodynamically clean & light which contributes to the remarkable useful load & great performance of the CT Super. The CT Super is capable of flying non–stop from London to Frankfurt or Munich to Rome.

Engine

Depending on your specific requirements & preferences, choose either the well–proven, industry–standard Rotax 912UL(S), developing a reliable 80 or 100 hp with twin carburettors, or the fuel–injected, Rotax 912iS, featuring a robust 100 hp with the fuel/air mixture precisely computer controlled for ultra–smooth power delivery, improved high altitude performance, more useful torque, reduced emissions & improved fuel economy. The 912iS modern fuel injection also results in surer, easier starts, lower maintenance & lower operating costs all the way to its 2000-hour TBO. For flying in “hot & high” conditions, where a normally–aspirated engine will be challenged to maintain power at altitude, Flight Design offers the advantages of turbocharging with the Rotax 914 Turbo engine, able to maintain its 115 hp in altitude. Wherever you fly, Flight Design has engine power choices best suited to your exact requirements.

Avionics

The CT Super Series features some of the most advanced, yet easy to use avionic suites Dynon to suit your personal aviation mission. Dynon SkyView HDX systems feature bright high definition touch screens & synthetic vision.

Additional Equipment

Airframe emergency parachute standard equipment. Single beam composite landing gear with improved damping characteristics.

Interior

The cabin of the CT Super was designed to fit very tall & smaller people equally well. Storage space in the cockpit is provided by convenient storage spaces & the outside baggage doors give great access for bulky items. The CT Super allows up to 50 kg (110 lb) of baggage to be safely stored in the dual storage compartments of the baggage area. Comfortable seats with optional leather & moulded foam padding offer incomparable comfort.
