For sale is a nice little 2016 RV-12 E-LSA. 2120 hrs on the airframe, 428 hrs since NEW on the 912ULS engine. Upgraded with a Dynon Skyview HDX touch screen and 2 axis autopilot. (I'm amazed by the capability of this autopilot. It does everything the $30k STEC 3100 in my Cardinal does except cost as much.) Did your kid watch Top Gun, grow a mustache, and vow to join the Navy? No problem, because this plane was upgraded with the RV-12iS carry through spar, and can handle all the carrier landings Jr can throw at it! Seriously, this is a great upgrade. The old spars were prone to cracking, but the new spar is significantly stronger, and the surrounding structure is beefed up as well. Upgrade was done in accordance with Vans SB-00104. (The kit alone is $7k, and it's about 150 hours to do the swap.) This plane is a ton of fun to fly, and would be 3x better than a 150 or 172 for learning to fly. But I can't keep them all. The RV12 is located in Oconto, WI (KOCQ), just north of Green Bay. Delivery available.
