AFTER LANDING, DURING ROLLOUT, NLG COLLAPSED CAUSING PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE RUNWAY. GEAR LIGHS INDICATED "GEAR DOWN" AND VISUAL INSPECTION PRIOR TO LANDING CONFIRMED GEAR DOWN. (K)
THIS PART WAS ADDED TO STABILIZER ATTACHMENT SYSTEM BY SB SEB 87-2. SUBMITTER STATED STABILIZER ATTACH BULKHEAD WAS ALSO NOTED TO BE CRACKED IN AN AREA THAT THIS SB WAS SUPPOSED TO ADDRESS.
FOUND LARGE OIL LEAK AT NR 4 CYLINDER ROCKER COVER DURING FIRST GROUND RUN OF THIS ENGINE FROM CONTINENTAL. FOUND NR 4 UPPER RT MOUNT MACHINED INCORRECTLY. THIS IS A CONTINENTAL REBUILT ENGINE.
FOUND LOWER CABIN DOOR HINGE PIN LOWER PEENED HEAD MISSING ON PILOT'S DOOR. ON DISASSEMBLY, FOUND PIN ALSO BROKEN INSIDE OF HINGE. PIN IS MADE OF BRASS AND APPARENTLY WORK HARDENS WITH LOADS. SUBMITTER SUGGESTS USING MS20392 TYPE PIN.
