About the Cessna 182R
The Cessna 182R is the early-1980s Skylane — among the last of the original Continental O-470 carbureted run before Cessna's 1986 single-engine production halt. Performance mirrors the other O-470 Skylanes (~140-145 kt, four adults, 1,000-lb-class useful load); its appeal is a late, well-sorted example of the classic carbureted Skylane at a lower entry price than the fuel-injected 182S/T that followed the restart.
Produced 1982–1986.
