Description
1978 Cessna 172 Hawk XP II. There are 1,668 hours total time on this aircraft, both airframe and engine since new. The logs are complete from the factory to present and there is no damage history. It spent the first 12 years of its life in California, then came to Pennsylvania, and has been hangered it's entire life, which shows in the original and pristine appearance. The airplane is being sold for the estate of the deceased owner and will be sold with a fresh annual inspection. The logs are available, and the aircraft will be shown by appointment only.
Engine
Engine: Continental O-360K 1668 hrs. TTSN Engine: The Continental O-360K engine has a TBO of 1500 hours. It has been faultless throughout its life, with no cylinders replaced and all cylinders measuring in the mid-seventies at the last annual inspection. Prop: 175 hrs. TSOH
Interior
The factory installed interior is very nice. It is done in brown vinyl and fabric seats and sidewalls with matching brown carpet. The glass is excellent and there is little or no plastic trim cracking.
Exterior
Still wearing its original factory colors of overall Juneau white with Hershey Brown trim and Butterscotch accent. The condition is outstanding for its age, still shiny, with the patina that only comes with constant care.
