Description
1976 Cardinal C177B N22177 w/2,415 TTAF with advanced avionics. This late production model of the Cardinal has very low time and a hybrid analog glass cockpit. Equipped with a full suite of advanced state-of-the-art avionics package including Garmin GFC-600 AutoPilot, ADSB-In / Out, dual Garmin G5 ADI/AHRS, Transponder, JPI engine monitor and dual Avidyne IFD-5 series top-of-the line FMS installed in 2025. As you can see in the pictures, this is a gorgeous plane in great condition, inside and out. Flys like a dream. Always hangared. The 1976 Cessna Cardinal 177B is widely considered the finest iteration of the Cardinal line, benefiting from years of factory refinements. It stands out for its unmatched cabin visibility (thanks to the forward-placed cockpit and no wing struts), a spacious interior that rivals larger aircraft and excellent handling. Needs a new engine and prop and this fact has been factored into the price. Otherwise this highly sought after low-time plane with advanced avionics would be selling for much more. This is a rare opportunity for someone to get a excellent value on a great plane. Plane is currently in Oshkosh, WI. New owner can work with A P to procure and install new engine and prop. As a Systems Engineer, I have an avid interest in aviation technologies, so for a long time I have been experimenting with virtually every known aviation device for navigation and aerial photography as I have documented thousands of landings and take-offs using various configurations, so I have a surplus of high-resolution gear and many more accessories than I need so I will be selling this extra equipment at substantial discounts just to free up space in the hangar. Depending on who ends up buying this particular aircraft, I may include some or all of this equipment depending on level of interest just to sweeten the deal. Extra accessories available include Sentry ADS-B receiver as a back-up to hardwired ADSB-In, multiple calibrated fuel dipsticks, multiple style fuel sump cups, multiple oil funnels, tow bar, unused rafts, an unused smoke mask, PJ2 handheld radio w/direct connect for headset, Bose noise cancelling headset w/bluetooth, Clark headsets (fixed wing and helicopter), checklist, operating manuals, misc kneeboards, carry bags, ipads, suction cup and yoke mounts for iPads and iPhones, GoPros with multiple interior/exterior mounts, high capacity flash memory, charges, battery packs, etc.
Engine
Needs new engine and prop. Plane is currently in Oshkosh, WI at one of the most established and reputable A P shops in the region so the new engine and prop can be installed by this shop without the need to transport plane elsewhere.
