HYDRAULIC PUMP LEAKS 5606 FROM HOUSING PARTING SURFACES DURING OPERATION. TWO HOUSING BOLTS APPEAR TO BE STRIPPED, BROKEN AND HOUSING SEAL IS EXTRUDING PAST PARTING SURFACES AROUND LEAKAGE AREA.
LOCK ACTUATOR BINDING AND WOULD NOT LOCK IN THE DOWN POSITION. GEAR UP LANDING.
THE RETAINING RING DISLODGED FROM THE RETAINING RING GROVE, WHICH ALLOWED THE PISTON AND ROD AND MAIN GEAR ACTUATOR GLAND TO SEPARATE FROM THE MAIN GEAR ACTUATOR CYLINDER PREVENT HYDRAULIC PRESSURE FROM BUILDING WHICH IS NECESSARY TO OPEN THE MAIN.
AT CRUISE 6500 FT, NR 3 PISTON PIN ALUMINUM END PLUG BROKE OFF THE STEEL PIN. THIS CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE PISTON, RINGS, CYLINDER AND ULTIMATELY STOPPED THE ENGINE, SEIZED.
INTERNAL O-RING FAILED AND UPLOCK WOULD NOT RELEASE NOSE GEAR, RESULTING IN GEAR NOT EXTENDING, PROP DAMAGE, SUDDEN ENGINE STOPPAGE, AND LOWER SKIN DAMAGE.
OWNER/PILOT REPORTED THAT AFTER LANDING, FLAPS WOULD NOT RETRACT TO FULL UP NOR DID FLAP INDICATOR INDICATE CORRECT POSITION OF FLAPS. TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED THAT FLAP FOLLOW UP CABLE OUTER CASING SHATTERED JUST INBD OF ATTACH CLAMP IN ROOF ABOVE...
WHILE UNDERGOING AN ANNUAL INSPECTION THE ENGINE FIREWALL WAS FOUND TO BE CRACKED WHERE THE EXHAUST HANGER BRACKETS ATTACH ON THE LT SIDE. ADDITIONAL CRACKING WAS ALSO FOUND ON THE INNER BULKHEAD.
WHILE UNDERGOING AN ANNUAL INSPECTION THE ENGINE FIREWALL WAS FOUND TO BE CRACKED WHERE THE EXHAUST HANGER BRACKETS ATTACH ON THE LT SIDE. ADDITIONAL CRACKING WAS ALSO FOUND ON THE INNER BULKHEAD.

(CAN) THE BULKHEAD DOUBLER REINFORCES THE HOLE WHERE THE HORIZONTAL STAB ATTCHES. DOUBLER SPLIT IN TWO THROUGH THE ANCHOR NUT RIVIT HOLE. THIS DOUBLER IS ONLY FOUND ON EARLY MODELS.
