The DR253b is the classic GT from Robin which combines a large loading capacity with superior cruise speed. Comfortably cruises around 123 kts with four adults and sufficient fuel. MC has been regularly used for 500 NM non-stop travelling. The DR253 has a wider and larger cabin which is only matched by the later and heavier DR500. The DR253 has similar load carrying and cruise due to the light weight and simplicity of the design. The 180 hp Lycoming engine and a fixed prop giving excellent performance due to the light weight of the aircraft. Airplane time state: Aircraft TT 3200 hrs nearly 6000 landings Serial No 155. Engine Lycoming O-360-A3A, Time SMOH 300 Engine overhauled in 2009 by Dachsel Prop Sensenich 76 EM 8S5-0-64 58" Pitch Climb prop can be included Additional Gomolzig muffler fitted, making it neighbor friendly Wheel spats included 180 l fuel capacity in three tanks Empty weight 626 kg MTOM 1100 kg ARC valid until 16/8-2026.
