S-TEC 55. Very stable and smooth.

Description

Price just lowered for solid C-206 with turbo-charged TSIO 520 being sold by motivated sellers! FRESH Annual (Mar 2026). TT: 2487 hrs as of 13 Mar 2026. Engine Time Since Major Inspection: 775 (Technically, it was not overhauled but the engine was completely disassembled and evaluated). Propeller SPOH: 2487. This is not your father's (or grandfather's) 206. The turbo-charged 520 engine has extraordinary power. In discussion with the A P, "this engine has a lot of life left". Flies great, and lots invested to make it better! New Garmin G3X panel and new STEC 55X Autopilot. Very nice panel arrangement. Interior is at least an 8 out of 10 with newer leather seats. All six seats installed. Exterior is a 7 out of 10 with minor paint chipping. Newer tires (Aug 2024). Panel LEMO for 6-pin connector, Bluetooth, GDL 50 SiriusXM, dual VHF, ADS-B in/out, TCAS, Rosen Sun Visors, Sportsman STOL Kit, light pulsators, landing gear fairings, exterior NADIR-looking camera, Garmin GPS 175, GNC 255A, GNC 355, and GTX 33ES ADS-B/Transponder. 2021 pre-buy found the airframe and all hardware, cables, pulleys, bell cranks, strut bolts found to be in "very good condition". Pre-buy summary: "Airframe and Engine found to be well maintained, great condition and well documented since 1989." We've had it 5 years; it has always been parked under cover/hangared. Currently hangared at Boerne Stage Airfield (5C1).

Engine

Engine TSMOH: 725.0. Replaced #4 cylinder during 2023 annual. Propeller SPOH: 550

Interior

Interior is VERY nice. Previous owner replaced all 6 seats with camel "pleather" and are in excellent condition. With the new panel, the interior is at least an 8 out of 10. Exterior looks good - I'd rate it a 7 out of 10. There are a few minor chips in the engine cowling and one on the left elevator.
