VFRDescription
Own a real piece of aviation history! In 1950, Mid-States Aviation commissioned 9 brand-new Cessna 195s for the original Midway Airlines. N1008D is one of those very aircraft. This beautifully restored classic now features a 330hp Jacobs R915-5L6 engine (80hrs) and a full Butterfly restoration. Timeless looks, legendary radial power, and ready for its next chapter. The owner is reluctantly selling after losing insurance coverage. Previously listed briefly on Barnstormers - now exclusively brokered by ClearBlue Aero.

Butterfly purchased the aircraft and completed the full restoration after a ground loop in 2019. The aircraft is straight and rigged beautifully. As usual, they did an amazing job!
