About the Beechcraft Bonanza 35
The Beechcraft V-tail Bonanza (Model 35) is the iconic ruddervator-tailed Bonanza — produced 1947 to 1982 across letter variants A35 through V35B and V35TC, with around 10,000 built. Cruise around 175 knots on a Continental IO-470/520, four to five seats, and the unmistakable V-shape that defined the Bonanza brand. The V35B is widely considered the most refined V-tail. The V-tail carries specific tail-attachment and wing-spar airworthiness directives — well-known, well-understood when properly maintained — and the type's safety record is consistent with other high-performance singles when ADs are kept current.
Produced 1947–1966.
