Robin DR400 Aircraft 2020s
Near-new (2020+) piston singles are the youngest fleet available — Cirrus SR22 GTS / G7 platform, Cessna 172/182 continuing production, Diamond DA50 RG (2020+), Mooney production attempts. Latest Garmin Perspective+ / G1000 NXi software, factory mandate compliance, low airframe hours. Highest acquisition cost but lowest scheduled maintenance investment near-term.
The Robin DR400 is the iconic French four-seat tourer — a wood-and-fabric low-wing aircraft with the distinctive cranked ("bent") wing derived from Jodel designs, a sliding bubble canopy and famously light, pleasant handling. Economical on a Lycoming O-320/O-360, with excellent visibility and short-field manners, the DR400 is a hugely popular club and private touring aircraft across Europe. Variants include the 140B Major, 180 Régent, 120 Dauphin and the 500.
