Description
Freshwater A-1B on Wipline 2100 amphibious floats with the new-style wing (no spades, extended flaps) and rare 200 hp engine option! You’ll appreciate the additional power combined with the MT 2-blade composite propeller. N859DC is equipped with Wipaire finlets, offering improved dock clearance and crosswind operations without sacrificing lateral stability. Aviat’s “new wing” features extended flaps and dynamically balanced ailerons for sportscar-like handling while enhancing the excellent short-field capabilities of the Husky, coupled with Micro Aerodynamics vortex generators for additional slow-speed controllability. IFR panel features an Aspen EFD1000 Pro, Garmin GNS 530W, S-Tec 20 autopilot w/ yaw damper, Garmin GTX 327 transponder, Garmin GMA 340 audio panel, VM1000 engine monitor, and uAvionix SkyBeacon ADS-B Out. A Garmin GDL 69A offers Sirius XM Weather + Radio (subscription required). N859DC’s interior is finished with black leather seating with teak & holly flooring and features rear seat heat w/ defrost. Optional Aviat heel cups are currently installed, offering additional comfort for taller pilots. The aircraft is fitted with an optional glider tow release and engine preheat system and includes a canopy cover. Landplane gear from sister ship s/n 2395 is included. August 2024 annual. Times may change as this Husky is flown regularly. Don’t miss this turnkey amphib for the 2025 season!

About the Aviat Husky A-1B-200
The Aviat Husky is a high-wing, tandem two-seat backcountry taildragger built for utility, bush and glider-towing work. With steel-tube-and-fabric construction, strong STOL performance, and a 180 hp Lycoming O-360 or 200 hp fuel-injected IO-360, it is the modern, factory-built answer to the Super Cub — rugged, well-supported and capable on wheels, floats or skis. The A-1C-200 (200 hp) is the current high-output variant.
