About the Socata TB-10 Tobago

The Socata TB-9 Tampico, TB-10 Tobago and TB-200 Tobago XL are the fixed-gear members of the Socata TB piston line — low-wing four-seat singles with the same wide cabin and gull-wing doors as the retractable Trinidad. The TB-9 Tampico (160 hp Lycoming O-320) is the entry trainer/tourer; the TB-10 Tobago (180 hp Lycoming O-360, ~130 kt) is the volume four-seat tourer; the TB-200 Tobago XL (200 hp) is the higher-powered variant. Produced from the late 1970s through the 2000s, these are comfortable, well-built European fixed-gear alternatives to the Cessna 172/Piper Cherokee class with notably more cabin width.

Produced 1980–2000.
