Description

If you are looking to travel long distances in comfort or just have some local fun, this is the plane for you. Fresh out of an extensive annual, this efficient and reliable machine has taken me across the Atlantic and back. Low hour engine with very good compression. Very good performance, stability and range make it an excellent IFR cruiser. You can expect POH numbers or better. I always plan 130ktas at 30lph (8gph). Garmin G3X coupled with a pair of GNS430W and GFC500 autopilot will give you more functionality than a modern airliner. You can shoot approaches down to LPV minima. The autopilot is very precise. Perfect platform for sightseeing, aerial photography and filmography, camera windows and high wings without struts will give you an unobstructed view below, and big doors mean you and your passengers can get in and out comfortably without climbing over a wing. Hangared at EYVP, close to Vilnius. SALE PENDING

About the Cessna 177RG

The Cessna 177RG Cardinal RG is the retractable-gear member of the 177 Cardinal family — a sleek four-seat high-wing single with a strutless cantilever wing, retractable landing gear and a fuel-injected Lycoming IO-360, cruising around 140 to 148 knots. The retractable gear gives it more speed than the fixed-gear Cardinals, and its roomy cabin and good looks have earned it a devoted following. See the live price range and median above for the Cessna 177RG and Cardinal RG listings currently on the market.

Produced 1971–1978.
