Own a piece of Alaska Aviation History - this aircraft was purchased by Orin Seybert and used in the famous Penn Air. Current owner is getting old decided it's time to give up flying, would like to see go to a good home where it will be flown regularly. Considers it a good safe plane, but willing to negotiate if airworthy issues are found, only a pre-purchase inspection by a licensed mechanic will tell. It's one of the lower priced float equipped 180's on the market; has nice seat upholstery, wheel gear are included and just received a fresh annual.

About the Cessna 180F

The Cessna 180F is a mid-production Skywagon — a 230-hp Continental O-470 taildragger from the classic era of Cessna's backcountry and float workhorse. Like the rest of the 180 line it trades the tricycle 182's easy handling for conventional-gear short-field and rough-strip capability (~140-kt cruise, strong useful load). The buy case is bush, float or ski utility; tailwheel proficiency and a careful look at the spar and firewall area matter most.

Produced 1971–1986.
