Well-Equipped 1966 Piper Cherokee 6/260 - 7 Seats, Fresh Annual, Brand-New Hartzell 3-Blade Prop Total Time: 6,665.56 Engine: 714.76 SMOH (1/7/2008) Propeller: Brand-new Hartzell 3-blade propeller (upgraded from 2-blade) This Cherokee 6/260 is a solid, reliable cross-country performer with excellent load-hauling capability. With a 1,474 lb useful load and seating for 7, it is well suited for family travel, business use, or serious utility missions. The aircraft features a well-rounded and capable avionics suite including a Garmin 530W, Garmin 430W, Garmin G5 attitude indicator, Bendix King HSI, S-TEC autopilot with altitude hold and vertical speed coupled to Garmin GPS, Garmin GTX 345 transponder, and a JPI fuel flow engine monitor. Additional highlights include smoke-tinted windows and a middle jump seat, allowing seating for a total of seven passengers. No known major damage history. Complete logs since new. The aircraft has just completed an extensive annual inspection, with the shop directed to correct any items that would normally be identified during a pre-purchase inspection. Just out of a fresh annual, a brand-new Hartzell 3-blade propeller (previous prop did not pass overhaul inspection), and no deferred maintenance, making it ready for immediate fly-away.

About the Piper Cherokee Six

The Piper Cherokee Six (PA-32-260/300) is the original fixed-gear PA-32 — a six-seat single built 1965-1979 with a big cabin, double cargo doors and either a 260 hp or 300 hp Lycoming. It cruises around 145 knots and is the most affordable way into a six-seat Piper, prized for utility, freight and skydiving roles thanks to its big rear door.

Produced 1965–2005. Total produced: 5,000.
