The Piper Cherokee 180 (PA-28-180) is the 180-hp version of the original constant-chord Cherokee and one of the most beloved four-seat singles ever made. Its 180-hp Lycoming O-360 turns the Cherokee into a genuine four-place tourer, cruising around 120-125 knots with a solid useful load and the simple, forgiving handling the line is famous for. The 180 is effectively the predecessor of the tapered-wing Archer and is widely sought as an affordable family and cross-country aircraft.
