Seller reportedDescription
Piper L18c (90hp Super Cub) For Sale A rare opportunity to purchase a Piper L18c in good order and less than 500hrs engine time SMOH. G-AZRL has been operated by the same owners for the past 8 years with enhancements made during that time including new Trig radio and Mode S transponder, tyres, tailwheel and recent rear fuselage refurbishment. NARC until August 2024. Reluctant sale due to changing commitments for the syndicate members. Formally designated an L18c, the aircraft has two wing tanks (like a Supercub) and a C90 engine. She doesn't have the complexities of flaps, generator or vacuum pumps and is thus lighter (and cheaper) to fly than the 150 or 180 hp Super Cubs. Some would argue the purest form of Cub with good performance. A capable touring plane, or just for fun locally on a summer evening. This aircraft was believed to be sold to the Belgium Airforce in the early 1950's, and the syndicate have a full history from her release to civil life in France and subsequent move to the UK, together with all maintenance records.
