Innovation Konner K1-S19 wants to represent the idea of freedom: freedom to move, to move, to reach coveted & inaccessible destinations. Freedom to experience unique emotions on board a helicopter unique in the world. The development team from which Konner K1-S19 was born brings together specialists from the aeronautical, engineering, materials, motorsport & design sectors. Ten years of commitment, research, passion and dedication have allowed the development of K1-S19, a helicopter that stands out for its performance, lightness, availability of power, reliability & safety. Next Generation Aircraft The Konner helicopter models showcase a cutting-edge HFA system—Hybrid Flight Assistance. This pioneering system engages an additional electric engine in the event of an engine failure, presenting a paramount safety feature that eliminates the risk associated with the traditional “Dead Man’s Curve” for the pilot. HFA – Hybrid Flight Assistance The HFA system developed by Konner Helicopters allows the pilot, in the event of a loss of power from the turbine, to have a second source of energy… an electric motor to facilitate autorotation & consequently the landing of the helicopter. +90 horsepower provided by the electric motor which allows you to keep the rotor revolutions under control to avoid a stall situation. The HFA was specifically developed to interface with the K1-S19 and K2 Italia helicopters, the management of the electric motor is 100% autonomous thanks to the sophisticated control software. The pilot can activate/deactivate the system before takeoff. The system has been tested numerous times to ensure it is 100% reliable, & so it has been, assisting the pilot every time during emergency clearance. FADEC: Easy To Fly The FADEC system allows you to easily manage the turning off & on of the turbine by moving the selector to the three designated positions: STOP – IDLE – FLY. STOP: Turning off the turbine. IDLE: Stabilization of the turbine making it ready for flight. FLY: Increase in rotor speed, making the helicopter ready for take-off. Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) The Konner K1-S19 is engineered to be a versatile & forward-thinking aircraft. It recognizes the importance of transitional solutions on the path to a fully sustainable aviation sector. SAF, often derived from renewable resources such as biofuels, presents an opportunity to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of air travel. By integrating SAF into its operations, the K1-S19 demonstrates a dedication to sustainability. This approach ensures that it can adapt to various environmental & logistical conditions while prioritizing the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Safety on Konner K2 Italia K1-S19 wants to raise safety standards. Konner researchers have developed the best active & passive safety systems & integrated them with the style, design & lightness of K1-S19. The carbon fiber fuselage has been designed to ensure energy absorption in the event of a frontal or vertical impact. The following options are available on K1-S19: +4 points safety belts, with quick release system in case of rollover. +Flexible tank in self-sealing material and non-returnvalves to ensure the containment of the fuel in case ofimpact or rollover. +Crashworthy seats & Pop-out floats. +Hybrid Assistant System, the revolutionary active safety device. Konner K2 Italia & TK 250 turbines The heart of the K1-S19 is born from the “gas turbine engines” division, the TK-250 turbine, capable of guaranteeing 250 hp, whose exuberance is contained in just 50 kg of weight. The most advanced technologies blend inside the engine & a latest generation FADEC allows the pilot to exploit its characteristics in complete safety & tranquillity. EMS The versatility of the Konner K1-S19 extends beyond private use, making it an exceptional choice for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations. Performance Cruising speed: 110 kts (204 km/h) VNE (at sea level): 115 kts (213 km/h) Empty weight: 350 kg Tank capacity: 132 kg Fuel: Diesel fuel, biodiesel, JP-1, JP-4, SAF Maximum power available: 250 shp Maximum takeoff weight: 600 kg/650 kg Maximum range: 200 nm (370 km) Maximum operating altitude: 10,000 ft Max. speed climb rate: 2600 fpm (800 m/min) Hovering operating IGE at MTOW: Over 10,000 ft Electrical Engine Konner HFA (Hybrid Flight Assistant) guarantees hybrid support to the TK-250 turbine whenever it needs additional power. The HFA system developed by Konner independently manages the start of the electric motor without the need for intervention from the pilot, simplifying the activation system. The TK-250 turboshaft engine: a concentration of technology, cutting-edge solutions, first-rate design software, professionalism, conviction & passion have allowed Konner Gas Turbine Division to develop the lightest turboshaft engine in the world in its category: 250hp concentrated in 50 kg of pure passion. Konner, owner of the construction & design technology of the turboshaft engine, guarantees wide production availability, technical assistance, maintenance & global management of spare parts, the turbine is alignable to diesel. The TK-250 turboshaft engine: a concentration of technology, cutting-edge solutions, first-rate design software, professionalism, conviction & passion have allowed Konner Gas Turbine Division to develop the lightest turboshaft engine in the world in its category Rotor The K1-S19 main rotor is a 3 bladed semi-articulated system. The blades are made of composite materials and the main rotor is bearingless. the main rotor head components and the mast are all made from special steel alloys. The management system of blade pitch change, the apping and fathering are based on the use of bearingless elastic elements and it ensures height reliability and reduced maintenance cost.
