Lake Aero, an aircraft maintenance operation at the Chelan, WA airport (S10) has a Glastar that was being upgraded for a client. The airplane, N269JL, was reportedly the original tailwheel prototype for the factory. The client (owner) wanted it converted to a nose wheel configuration. It has no engine or avionics. The shop has a disassembled Lycoming O-360 that was intended for the airplane that is available. I understand there are new interior parts and an autopilot.
