AEVEX is the provider of the Twin Otter X2 aircraft! A completely remanufactured version of the legendary DHC-6 series Twin Otter. AEVEX’s "Re-Life®" process delivers the Twin Otter X2 as a "Zero Time" Twin Otter with new structural life limits of 66,000 hours or 132,000 cycles, whichever comes first, the same as a Factory-New aircraft. All AEVEX Twin Otter X2 can be customized to meet specific requirements and a wide variety of custom configurations. AEVEX's Twin Otter X2 Package is comprised of the following features: - AEVEX DHC-6 Re-Life Fuselage. - IAEVEX DHC-6 Re-Life Wing Boxes. - AEVEX DHC-6 Re-Life Flight Controls - AEVEX DHC-6 Re-Life Nacelles. - New fuselage, wing, and nacelle wiring harnesses, with overhauled electrical panels. - All systems components overhauled or factory-new. - Fixed wheeled landing gear, overhauled, with new tires and Cleveland wheels/brakes. - All maintenance and Five year corrosion inspections. - New exterior paint (2 color) using DuPont™ Imron polyurethane enamel, with registration markings. - Airstair door or passenger entry "Swing" door. - Aircraft MTOW 12,500 pounds (Option for Restricted/Standard Category 14,000 pound MTOW STC.) - FAA Standard Certificate of Airworthiness.
