This Chipmunk is owned by an ageing syndicate and has been under-utilized for a number of years. With fewer than 300 hours on the engine SMOH, it is priced for a quick sale. G-BBMZ has been owned by the current syndicate since March 1984 and a number of the original members are still involved. Transferred onto a Permit in 2012, the aircraft has been very well maintained and is overall in very good condition. Engine has done under 300 hours SMOH. Very good levels of fatigue hours remain, and there has been a low level of utilisation over the last ten years - all of which have been on role factor 1. The Chipmunk is based at Wycome Air park (Booker) and has always been hangared. Recent maintenance work includes replacement of all the oil and fuel hoses on the engine, new engine mounts, undercarriage joints rebushed, new tail wheel yoke rubbers, new sliding blocks on the canopy, new brake linings, new flap cables etc - [Please Note - A time expired Gipsy engine which was removed from MZ in 2019, together with an abundance of spares are also available - under separate negotiation.] This site requires javascript to function.
